Vocas also supplied a monitor arm and we tested it with an Ikan 5600 that has HDMI input. It is a very lightweight monitor, thus making it an easy job for the Vocas arm but we felt the arm could also hold heavier loads. In comparison to the arm that Chrosziel supplied, it had equal quality and stability. When fully locked down you can still move the arm with force, but it’s strong enough to hold what it should hold. At $195 US it isn’t cheap, but it has a Vocas clip on the rail attachment, which we like and it can also be detached from this rail attachment. The Chrosziel arm comes without any accesories.

We also compared this arm to the one from Vibesta. It is of identical quality. The Vibesta arm is a lot cheaper $59 US. or 53€ (incl taxes) )
It doesn’t come with the previously mentioned clamping block by Vocas. Bas Ladru from Vocas says:
“The 15mm clamping block itself will have a list price of about 60 euro.” (or 72€ including taxes)

The Vibesta arm can also be bought for $49 US. or 44 €, without the hot shoe adapter. And they also sell a shorter arm for $39 US. 35 €. Shipping is $25 US. Mark from Vibesta is trying to lower shipping costs. We like his stuff and prices. You can find it here.
