The WAERO Pro is a full-duplex headset system designed for teams who need quick, uninterrupted communication. It was introduced earlier this year, and we took a closer look at it during IBC 2025. Notably, the WAERO Pro operates on the 1.9 GHz DECT band, which keeps it clear of the congested 2.4 GHz range used by many other wireless devices. Automatic frequency hopping stabilizes the signal when interference appears.
A typical kit includes one master headset and multiple remotes, all pre-paired. Users can switch between two communication groups, while the master headset features an all-call function to reach everyone at once. The system supports up to nine headsets in a single network.
Range extends to around 518 meters (1699 ft) in open environments. Remote units can run for a full shooting day, while the master headset will usually need a battery swap mid-day. Noise cancellation and acoustic echo control help maintain clarity in loud production settings.
The WAERO Pro integrates with CAME-TV’s existing communication tools, including the KUMINIK8 and the Came-Nano. Teams already using those systems can add WAERO Pro units without switching to a new platform.
