I finally got my hands on the Viewfactor powered cage. I nabbed it when Curt Von Badiniski stopped by Birns and Sawyer for a demo of the unit. There is one two-pin Lemo powered input to feed the camera and multiple accessories. There are also a bunch of ¼-20 and 3/8-16 threads to mount accessories. I only had time to power the camera and an on board Marshall 6.5” monitor. The cage worked flawlessly and shows great promise to add plenty of AKS. There are three more two pin Lemo power out connections and an input for a Viewfactor on/off remote switch. In this case I used a 12V Anton Bauer Dionic battery. The Viewfactor Powered cage will retail for around $1K. C5D cameraman Chris Collins picked the music and hooked up the edit for this one.
