Samyang 35mm T1.5 Cine LensB&Hsamyang.pl

Johnnie
This Samyang lens is one of my favorites! The quality of glass, fast aperture (1.5) and modest price makes it a real winner. If you are on a budget and looking for a set of prime lenses look no farther. Samyang in general and the 35mm in particular is a great buy!
Strengths: Smooth aperture ring. “Gear ring” for attaching follow focus and T1.5 max open aperture, Like all other Samyang lenses, it’s covering APS-C and full frame sensors.

Samyang 85mm f/1.4B&Hsamyang.pl

This is my other favorite Samyang lens. The quality of glass, bokeh and price makes it a winner. Also, this lens does not breath when changing focus. It’s a pity that currently there is no “click free” aperture ring for this lens but this can be overcome by a “skilled hand” person. Like all other Samyang lenses, it’s covering APS-C and full frame sensors.

Great lens, unbelievable performance for the price, bokeh beautiful. Built quality is better than the Samyang 35mm f/1.4 (photo version, not the cine version mentioned above!), although be aware there seems to be quite a bit of variation on Samyang product quality in general. This way or another, the price of this lens is absolutely unbeatable and it should definitely be in your kit if you can’t spend more on a 85mm prime.
