If you head to Ikonoskop home page you will find the following message on their front page: “Ikonoskop has temporarily stopped the production of the A-Cam dll cameras due to a strained financial situation. We are working hard to find a solution to this and hope to start up production as soon as possible”.
Indeed sad news as this unique looking camera which was the first to offer the indie film makers community full HD quality combined with cinema DNG RAW recording format never took off.
In my opinion, the relatively high price the camera was sold for in combination with the growing popularity of the modestly priced HDSLRs made it very difficult for the company to survive and create a solid market base. I wonder if a more agressive pricing policy would have made this camera more popular.

Johnnie Behiri is a documentary filmmaker with more than three decades behind the camera: he learned the craft in daily television news gathering, filmed for Japan's public broadcaster NHK, and spent eight years shooting and editing for BBC News. He joined cinema5D in 2011 and has co-owned and co-run CineD and MZed ever since.
