Terms & Conditions – MZed Black Friday Giveaway 2022

1. Sponsor: The Sponsors of the giveaway is The Dorsia Group LLC (MZed), 3727 W. Magnolia Blvd #1023, Burbank, CA, 91505, USA.

2. Eligibility: All MZed Pro members who are active subscribers at the time of the drawing are automatically entered to win. However, there’s no purchase necessary to participate in the drawing. To submit an entry, send a postcard or letter to the following address, along with your name, mailing address, and email address. Only one entry per person allowed. Postcard or letter must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible.

Employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, and agents of CineD, MZed, Videndum, FUJIFILM, Accsoon, SWIT, ShotDeck, and SIRUI (the “Sponsors”) their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the giveaway. The giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

3. Agreement to Rules: By participating in the giveaway, you agree to comply with and abide by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the Sponsors’ decisions as final and binding as it relates to the content of this campaign. Entrants should look solely to the Sponsors with any questions, comments or issues related to the giveaway.

4. Entry Period: The giveaway drawing will take place at 11:59 pm PST on 30 November 2022. Any expired MZed members at that time, or new members subscribed to MZed Pro after the entry period, will not be eligible. Any mailed giveaway entry received after this date will also not be eligible.

5. Prizes: The winners of the giveaway will receive the following prize: 1 winner will receive the FUJIFILM X-T5 Camera and XF 16-80 Lens Kit (approximate value $2200), 1 winner will receive a SIRUI 24mm 1.33X Anamorphic Lens (approximate retail value $999 USD), 1 winner will receive a SIRUI 50mm 1.33x Anamorphic Lens (approximate retail value $699), 1 winner will receive a Manfrotto 504X Tripod and Fluid Head, Lowepro ProTactic BP 450 AW II, and Joby Wavo camera mic (total approximate value $1949), 1 winner will receive the Accsoon SeeMo (approximate value $179), 1 winner will receive the SWIT VANGO-100L LED Light (approximate value $980) and SWIT MINO-S140 battery (approximate value $275), 3 winners will receive a ShotDeck annual subscription (approximate retail value of each subscription is $99.95).

6. Actual/appraised value of the prize may differ at the time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsors. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except for at the Sponsors’ discretion. The Sponsors reserve the right to provide the winners comparable value of the prize in cash. The prize is nontransferable. Substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent of the prize by the Winner is not permitted. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsors to use the Winner’s name and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. In the event of the prize becomes unavailable, for whatever reason, the Sponsor reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of similar or equivalent value. The prize will be sent/distributed directly by the Sponsor. The winner of this giveaway acknowledges that CineD and MZed are not responsible for sending the prize, but will do their best to ensure that the Sponsors are sending the prize in due time.

8. Winner Selection and Notification: The Winner will be chosen randomly by MZed. The Winner will be notified on Monday 2 December 2022 via email. The Sponsors shall have no liability for a Winners’ failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt of the prize offered in this Campaign by the Winner is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by the Winner at the Sponsors’ sole discretion will result in the Winner’s disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.

9. Terms and Conditions: The Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Sponsors’ control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway. In such cases, the Sponsors may select an alternative winner from eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by the Sponsors if appropriate. The Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the giveaway or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. The Sponsors have the right, in their sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the giveaway, and to void entries for any reason. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Disputes: This giveaway is governed by the laws of America, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. By participating in this giveaway, you agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in America having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall you be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees. You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
