Accusonus just released a new version of its famous one-knob audio correction plugins for filmmakers: Accusonus ERA 5. Two bundles are available, ERA 5 Bundle Standard and ERA 5 Bundle Pro. With each bundle, you’ll get access to three new plugins: Voice AutoEQ, Voice Deepener, Audio Cleanup Assistant. The Bundle Pro also includes the new Noise Remover Pro, Reverb Remover Pro, and Room Tone Match plugins. Let’s take a closer look at it!

Accusonus ERA 5 Bundle Standard

Accusonus ERA plugins are one-knob plugins made for filmmakers and content creators that want to repair and improve the audio quality of their projects quickly, easily, and without any special knowledge about audio post-production. If you missed it, you could read our review of the previous ERA 4 plugins here.

Accusonus ERA 5 Bundle Standard now consist of 9 plugins:

  • Noise Remover, Reverb Remover, Voice Leveler, De-Clipper, De-Esser, Plosive Remover. All these plugins got improved.

  • ERA Voice AutoEQ: this new tool automates the audio equalization process. It helps you fix muddy recordings and make the voice track standout in the mix.
  • ERA Voice Deepener: this plugin will add warmth and depth to voice recordings.

Accusonus ERA 5 Bundle Pro

Accusonus ERA 5 Bundle Pro includes everything in ERA 5 Bundle Standard and adds a couple of tools:

  • De-Esser PRO got improved. ERA-D is not part of the bundle anymore.

  • New Noise Remover PRO and Reverb Remover PRO: these plugins offer you spectral controls. This allows you to dig deeper into your sound and get more precise control over your mix.

  • Room Tone Match is a new plugin that identifies the background ambiance under speech. It will help you even out your mix and switch between different audio recordings seamlessly.

Accusonus SFX Cellar

After a free SFX weather pack released earlier this year, Accusonus launched SFX Cellar, a platform with affordable and high-quality royalty-free sound effects. Various types of sounds are available, for example, transitions, wooshes, UI effects, cinematic soundscapes, and so on.

SFX Cellar is available in two different flavors: SFX Cellar mp3 and SFX Cellar Premium. Both versions allow you to download unlimited sound effects. However, the Premium version gives you access to WAV format with metadata SFX.

I use the ERA 4 Pro bundle and it’s very good, especially the ERA-D plug-in. It doesn’t seem to be represented any more however, now there is only separate noise and reverb reducers.

And I don’t really like how previous customers don’t get a fixed, lowered upgrade price, but a limited time discount only (which also seems to be available for other people?). Great products, but somewhat greedy business model.

Nice but compared to Fairlight in DaVinci Resolve, is it worth it?
