Apple is running a multi-day program for filmmakers and developers to design for visionOS and produce Apple Immersive Video, offered as separate online lessons and in-person workshops, each with its own sign-up flow and deadline.
Apple’s new “Meet with Apple” activity targets creators who want to plan, capture, and finish immersive projects for Apple Vision Pro. The curriculum spans spatial storytelling in visionOS 26, interaction design with SharePlay and spatial Personas, and practical guidance from previous Apple Immersive Video productions. In case you missed it, also check our previous coverage of immersive filmmaking.
There are two distinct ways to attend. First, a livestreamed online program with a standard registration form. Second, an in-person program at the Apple Developer Center in Cupertino that uses a separate request form with limited consultation slots. Apple labels the buttons differently: Register for the online lessons, and Request for the in-person track.
Across two teaching days, Apple covers how to frame ideas for Apple Immersive Video, how to design spatial interaction that brings audiences into the experience, and how to build shared moments in visionOS with SharePlay and spatial Personas. A second block dives into Apple Immersive Video and Apple Spatial Audio, with production workflows and takeaways from prior Apple immersive projects. All sessions are conducted in English.
Attendees on site in Cupertino can explore a hands-on area after presentations and book project consultations throughout the week. Apple lists guided time on capturing Apple Immersive Video with the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera, working with Apple Spatial Audio, and learning post and VFX workflows for the format. Consultation space is limited.
Online lessons: October 21–23, 2025, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time (PDT). Apple’s page describes this as a “multi-day livestreamed activity.” Registration closes October 20 at 5:00 PM (PDT).
In-person workshops (Cupertino) happen simultaneously, which means Apple will likely livestream all the activity directly from Cupertino: October 21–23, 2025, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (PDT) at the Apple Developer Center, Cupertino. The request deadline to attend in person is October 17 at 5:00 PM (PDT).
These immersive video workshops connect concept, capture, and delivery for Apple’s spatial stack. It also aligns with our ongoing coverage of Vision Pro tooling and the URSA Cine Immersive acquisition pipeline, which has become a reference path for Apple Immersive Video productions. If you are evaluating immersive formats for client work, this is a chance to validate workflows directly against Apple’s guidance.
Short and sweet: will you apply for the in-person consultations in Cupertino or register for the livestreamed lessons of the immersive video workshops to pressure-test your immersive pipeline?
