Atomos has released AtomOS 12.7.0 for Ninja RAW, Ninja TX, and Ninja TX GO. The free firmware update adds ProRes RAW recording support for three mirrorless cameras, along with workflow improvements and several performance and compatibility fixes.
AtomOS 12.7.0 adds ProRes RAW recording support for the Sony α7R VI, Canon EOS R6 V, and Leica SL3-P when paired with compatible Atomos monitor-recorders. We’ve previously covered all three cameras on CineD, including a Lab Test for the Sony α7R VI.
AtomOS 12.7.0 includes the following updates for Ninja RAW, Ninja TX, and Ninja TX GO:
Users should still check camera output settings, recorder compatibility, and media requirements before using the setup on a production. Atomos also points users to its certified media and accessories page for supported storage and accessories.
The new option to disable Camera-to-Cloud (C2C) uploads while recording allows productions to keep C2C in the workflow while pausing uploads during capture when recording performance needs to take priority.
AtomOS 12.7.0 is available now as a free update for Ninja RAW, Ninja TX, and Ninja TX GO. Atomos lists the update on its product-support page, where users can download the firmware and release notes.
