Atomos has released firmware update 11.07.00 for the Shinobi II and Shinobi 7 RX monitors, expanding USB-C camera control and touch-to-focus support to a wide range of new camera models from Canon, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony.
The update is a free download and continues Atomos’ steady expansion of camera control support since the Shinobi II launched in mid-2024. With USB-C connected, users can adjust ISO, shutter speed, aperture, and white balance directly from the monitor’s touchscreen, as well as tap to set focus points on supported cameras. Firmware 11.07.00 also brings the Shinobi range in line with the camera control compatibility already found on Atomos’ next-generation Ninja monitor-recorders, including the Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO, and Ninja TX.
Here is the full list of cameras added with this firmware:
A few standouts: the Nikon ZR, Nikon’s first hybrid camera with RED color science and R3D RAW workflow, is a notable addition that signals Atomos is keeping pace with newer, video-centric bodies. FUJIFILM’s GFX100RF brings medium format monitor control into the mix. And on the Panasonic side, the sheer breadth of support, from the GH7 to the S1H to both new S1-series Mark II bodies, covers much of the current LUMIX lineup in one go.
Firmware 11.07.00 is available now as a free download from the Atomos website. For the complete list of all supported cameras, visit the Atomos camera control compatibility page.

A camera was put in my hands at 16, and I’ve been taking photographs ever since. Before moving to Vienna, I worked as a photographer on film sets, telling stories as they unfolded behind the scenes. Since then, I’ve focused on immersive theater, both as a photographer and an actor. I am the photographer for the award-winning Nesterval ensemble, documenting the energy and atmosphere of their performances. I’m a teller of stories. Stories hold my interest. I’ll take on any project with a story to tell.
