Cinevate Crash Cage

Crash CageCinevate has teamed up with fellow Canadians Stillmotion to create a universal cage for cameras. The Crash Cage is solid aluminium, featuring 43 threaded holes to add accessories and protection to your rig.

The product can be a simple as a camera cage, or ship with additional components to make it a building block for your rig. The Cinevate Simplis lies in the heart of most configurations, offering a quick release system to your camera plate. The great thing about the Simplis is it’s adjustable, so compatible with a variety of tripod plates.

Other Crash Cage packages include counter weights, which can be used to perfect the balance of your rig or add weight to your system for use with Stabilizing devices. More so on the latter, with a solid top rail you can quickly rig the camera from the top, meaning under slung configurations with a Steadicam (or products alike) can be executed quickly.

There is also a package with two 15mm rods, providing universal compatibility with other branded products.

For reference, a C300 body only (probably one of the tallest popular large sensor cameras) is 7″/17cm tall.

Pricing starts at $189 for the bare cage, and for a limited time all ship with a free lock block.
