DigitalFoto has introduced the V360 Evo Elite, a two-axis motorized turntable designed for precise product photography and videography applications. The system offers automated 360-degree rotation with programmable movements through dedicated app integration.

DigitalFoto, founded in 2015 and based in Nanjing, China, designs, manufactures, and distributes photography and video production equipment worldwide. The company has expanded its product portfolio beyond gimbal support systems to include lighting solutions and motion control equipment.

Technical specifications and features

The V360 Evo Elite supports payloads up to 8 kilograms while maintaining a total package weight of 5 kilograms. The system operates on two axes, providing both rotational movement and in-and-out positioning for product shots. According to Malcolm Modele, who demonstrated the system, the motorized approach eliminates inconsistencies inherent in manual operation.

While demonstrating the poriduct, Malcolm highlighted that, “rather than relying on human error where we’re going to potentially worry about speed variations, this is all very precise and calculated”.

App integration and automated functions

The turntable connects via Bluetooth to a companion application that allows users to program up to six movement points. The system supports three operational modes: standard video capture, time-lapse photography, and stop-motion animation. These automated functions enable extended shooting periods, with the capability to operate continuously for up to 24 hours.

The app provides complete programmable control over the turntable’s movements, allowing content creators to set specific rotations and positions before initiating automated capture sequences. The system addresses growing demand for motion-controlled product photography in commercial and social media content creation. The automated precision addresses quality consistency issues commonly associated with manual turntable operation, particularly for e-commerce and product demonstration applications.

Included components, availability, and pricing

The DigitalFoto V360 Evo Elite package includes the motorized turntable base, counterweight system, and interchangeable backdrop panels in black and green. The green screen option allows for background replacement during post-production workflows. The system does not include camera equipment or mounting stands, focusing specifically on the motion control hardware.

Pricing for the V360 Evo Elite is set at €599 ($520 at B&H) with immediate availability through authorized retailers. The compact form factor and relatively lightweight design target independent filmmakers and content creators working in smaller studio environments.
