Godox is a leading Chinese company specializing in manufacturing LED lights, camera flashes, monitors, accessories, and audio equipment. Now, under the KNOWLED brand, the company has released the M300R, an RGBWW LED fixture targeting film and broadcast production. The unit joins the company’s KNOWLED series as a mid-range option with full-colour capabilities. Let’s take a closer look.
The M300R delivers 101,000 lux at 1 meter with its included reflector at a 30Β° beam angle. The fixture covers a CCT range from 1,800K to 10,000K and includes HSI color control across the full spectrum.
According to the company, individual RGB channel measurements at 1 meter without modifiers show:
Color accuracy is rated at CRI and TLCI 95+. The unit includes Β±100% green/magenta shift adjustment and dims down to 0.1%. Available color modes include CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, X-Y, and FX.
The light head weighs 3.6kg without the yoke and features an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Power options include AC mains and V-mount battery operation.
Control is available through multiple methods: onboard controls, CRMX wireless, wired DMX, Bluetooth via the KNOWLED app, and Ethernet. The fixture uses a Bowens mount for modifier compatibility.
Godox did not specifically indicate when the M300R is going to be available, though the price was set to $1,529 for the light itself and $1,599 for the K1 travel kit. A full range of accessories from Godox is available, including softbox, Pro Beauty Dish, projection attachment, and BeamLight Reflector, with additional options to be released soon.
On top, the company indicates it will work within their existing KNOWLED ecosystem alongside the MG1200Bi/R, MG2400Bi/R, and MG6K fixtures. For additional information about the new light, please head to the GODOX M300R link here.
