Sony 28-135mm F/4 Professional E-mount Zoom Lens

As anticipated by many professionals who’ve been working with Sony cameras and until now had to use mostly photo zoom lenses to unlock their potential creativity, Sony just announced a new zoom lens for it’s E mount cameras.

The Sony 28-135mm F4 G OOS lens, is priced very competitively (€25oo/$3300) if you consider the other high end alternatives in the market.

The lens includes a proper “hard stop” focus ring, proper aperture ring, a zoom rocket and optical image stabiliser. It will be very interesting to see how good the lens functions in the field and if its optical characteristics can mach todays 4k camera market.

Shipment of the new lens is expected to be by October end.
