Tilta’s new Mini PD V-Mount Battery Plate with Adjustable ARCA Receiver brings a compact, rod-free way to mount V-mount power on lightweight camera builds, adding 60 W USB-C PD alongside P-Tap and 2-pin LEMO outputs, a 37 mm balance slider, and a 180° folding hinge. Tilta is pitching this as a minimal, cage-friendly solution for users who want the runtime and accessory power of a V-mount battery without committing to a baseplate and 15 mm rods. The receiver accepts DJI-standard ARCA plates and Tilta cages, then lets you slide, swivel, or fold the battery plate to improve balance and packability on travel rigs.

Design and mounting

The Adjustable ARCA Receiver clips on via a DJI-standard ARCA quick-release. Once attached, you can extend the battery plate closer to or farther from the camera body, tilt it on a swivel hinge, or fold it flat to 180 degrees for storage. The plate adds both 1/4-20 and M4 threads for alternative mounting on arms or adapters, and Tilta includes strap slots to secure the battery against accidental unlatching.

Power I/O and PD support

The Mini PD plate is built for modern hybrid and cine-compact power needs: Tilta specifies P-Tap, USB-C, and 2-pin LEMO connections, with the P-Tap and 2-pin delivering up to 20 V/3 A. USB-C offers up to 60 W Power Delivery, which is enough to top up many mirrorless bodies, on-camera accessories, and even small laptops between takes.

Balance and rigging

To fine-tune center of gravity on shoulder rigs or gimbals, the system integrates a 37 mm adjustable sliding plate with a locking lever. The ARCA quick-release enables fast camera swaps, while the dual-contact ARCA plate aims to reduce twist under load. For operators, that means quicker transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal without rebuilding the rear power stack.
