Would you agree that modern mirrorless cameras that shoot video are little wonders? Regardless of the brand, they pack an impressive array of features: advanced recording formats, multiple resolutions, direct camera-to-cloud uploading, high-quality audio, and much more – it’s hard to go wrong. But is there such a thing as a perfect camera? (And what does “perfect” even mean?) While we’re on the subject, what features are you missing from your mirrorless camera? We’d love to find out!

The “rule of wanting” is very evident in today’s mirrorless camera market: the more we have, the more we want. Even with all the advancements, there are still features many of us hope to see from our favorite camera brands. These additional features could make a real difference when working in the field.

Before you jump in and say, “Just move on and get a proper cinema camera,” I have to confess, my heart is with mirrorless, especially the smaller ones. Since the early days of DSLR filmmaking, modern mirrorless cameras have made a quantum leap in picture quality and usability. But now feels like the right time for a reality check and to ask: what’s still badly missing?

Sure, we might feel like we know the top answers (built-in ND filter, anyone?), but this question deserves a fresh look. So, please take a moment to vote.
