amaran Pano 120c Presented – a Lightweight, Full Color, LED Light Panel with Multiple Powering Options

The new amaran Pano 120c (and 60c) RGB light panel offers multiple powering options with a USB-C PD lockable port or the Ace E-lock compatible with the upcoming amaran Peak power handle. Bundled together with a carrying case, softbox, and a grid, this lightweight LED panel is available now for $289.

The amaran Pano 60c and 120c are two new full-color LED panels for creators. The Chinese company announced these at the beginning of April 2025, so make sure to go ahead and check our news article that contains all the features and specs of these light panels. At the NAB show floor in Las Vegas, we met with Maxwell Miranda from the amaran team to run us through all the details of the larger Pano 120c. Let’s take a closer look.

The Pano 120c is a 120W full-color light with lenses on each emitter, which makes it a bit more “punchy” than a hard light. It offers a 2,300–10,000K CCT color range and features the same menu system as the existing amaran fixtures.

The Pano 120c is about the size of a (slightly thicker) 16-inch MacBook Pro, which is quite compact considering the power output. The panel has an active cooling system. As Maxwell told us, the built-in fan in the fixture is very quiet. Each Pano 120c comes with a carrying case, a softbox, and a grid.

Flexible powering options

For power input, the amaran Pano 120C has a locking USB-C PD port, so you can use power banks, power bricks, or V-Mount batteries that offer USB-C output. To get the panel to a maximum 100% output, a 140W USB-C PD power brick or power bank is required, but you can also use a smaller output brick or power bank to use the panel at a lower percentage.

The other option to power the panel is through the Ace E-lock quick-release system, which can function with the amaran Peak power handle, for instance. This can deliver the required 140W via the pins on the handle to use the light at 100% output for up to 40 minutes. Going through the Ace E-lock pins means the light will be powered without visible cables.

Price and availability

The amaran Pano 120C panel is available right now, and the price has been set to $289. The amaran Peak power handle is planned to be released in Q3 2025, but the price has not yet been determined.

It is worth noting that the pricing in the US market might change depending on the current situation regarding import tariffs. Please check with your local dealer to confirm the final pricing before purchase.
