Bored @ Home Competition Winners LIVE TODAY from 11am EDT / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST

May 7th, 2020

About 3 weeks ago, we announced our Bored @ Home 60 Second Film Competition – and boy, we were overwhelmed by the response! Read on to hear more details and find out how we are going to announce winners, with a bang.

UPDATE: We are very sorry – the stream will begin ONE HOUR LATER! We are going through the last entries and finishing the evaluations. Thank you for understanding.

250 Eligible Entries!

From the opening of the competition on April 10th until the closing of the competition on April 30th, we received a whopping 250 eligible entries for the Bored @ Home Film Competition. That’s amazing as we were estimating around 100 submissions!

You can WATCH all submissions here in this YouTube playlist!

Bored @ Home Film Festival – LIVE

We are currently in the process of judging all the entries under these criteria:

  • Originality & Creativity
  • Interpretation of the Theme “Bored @ Home”
  • Storytelling
  • Cinematography

In addition to that, we do our best to write a sentence of feedback to each entrant.

In order to thank all the amazing people who submitted their work, we will also hold a LIVE “Bored @ Home Film Festival” today, on Thursday, May 7th, starting at 11am EDT / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST / 12pm JST!

During this show, we will screen the TOP 50 and talk about them one-by-one in our live stream. The TOP 10 will be discussed more closely and all the judges will decide jointly for the winning entries which will be announced LIVE during this live stream.

Check our Youtube channel on Thursday, May 7th, starting at 10am EDT / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST / 12pm JST and also engage in discussions with other audience members and cinema5D in the Youtube live chat! We will, of course, also stream everything here.
