Helix Max Ultra dual-voltage series

The Helix Max Ultra dual-voltage batteries constitute the company’s flagship product, available in V-mount, Gold Mount, and B-mount configurations. Capacity options encompass 99Wh, 156Wh, 297Wh, and 395Wh variants. These units operate at both 14V and 28V, ensuring compatibility with high-end cinema cameras such as the ARRI Alexa 35, RED V-RAPTOR XL, and Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K.

The batteries support a maximum draw of 20A and feature an integrated D-Tap port in conjunction with two USB-C PD ports. Users can monitor power status via a backlit LCD display, wraparound LEDs, or the Voltbridge ID mobile application. The units incorporate AI-driven power management for output adjustment and provide real-time diagnostics, battery health monitoring, and firmware updates through the companion application.

XCell micro-sized V-mount options

For productions prioritising portability, the XCell Micro-Sized V-Mount Smart Batteries offer compact alternatives in 99Wh and 148Wh capacities. The 99Wh model weighs 1.3 pounds with dimensions of 3.9 x 2.82 x 2.2 inches, while the 148Wh version measures 3.93 x 2.83 x 2.63 inches at 1.55 pounds.

These batteries are equipped with an OLED display for real-time percentage and runtime information, 8V and 12V DC barrel outputs, D-Tap connectivity, and USB-C PD ports. The units support a maximum draw of 10A and feature SMBUS communication with compatible chargers and cameras.

Additional product releases

The Powerbase Edge SNAP Xtreme represents an updated iteration of Core’s stackable battery design. It features a 98Wh capacity, 10A draw capability, and Voltbridge ID integration. The unit includes a 100W USB-C PD input that doubles as an output port, complemented by a second USB-C port and two D-Tap outputs. Magnetic stacking and hot-swapping functionality are supported, although compatibility with previous 49Wh SNAP units is not maintained.

The NANO-FMX Sony L-Series battery provides 69Wh capacity with magnetic snap-charge capability and a 30W bidirectional USB-C PD port. This model prioritises powering multiple accessories simultaneously rather than direct camera compatibility with L-series Sony systems.

The NANO-C98MX HDV battery is available in Canon BP-A and Sony BP-U configurations, offering 98Wh capacity, 45W USB-C PD input/output, 11-16.8V D-Tap connectivity, and magnetic snap-charge technology for stacked charging applications.
