Core SWX has introduced three new power solutions that expand the versatility of their SNAP battery ecosystem: the Powerbase Edge SNAP Articulating Mount Plate for the Sony FX6, the V-SNAPIT Interface Terminal Adapter, and the G-SNAPIT Interface Terminal Adapter. The adapters provide additional flexibility in powering cameras, monitors, lights, and other production equipment while maintaining compatibility across different production setups. V-SNAPIT & G-SNAPIT Interface Terminal Adapters

The V-SNAPIT and G-SNAPIT adapters connect Core’s SNAP battery ecosystem with V-mount and G-mount devices, creating a seamless charge and discharge interface. A secure mount and hot-swappable design keep everything running smoothly with continuous power. A rear toggle switch lets users switch between charge and discharge modes as needed. These adapters support a wide range of cameras and production gear and should offer a versatile power solution both in the field and in the studio.

Powerbase Edge SNAP Articulating Mount Plate for Sony FX6

The Powerbase Edge SNAP Articulating Mount Plate gives Sony FX6 users a flexible way to mount SNAP battery packs, allowing them to be positioned vertically, horizontally, or at an angle behind the camera. It maintains compatibility with Sony BPU-style batteries for backup power when needed. The plate includes dual PDPro outputs, supporting direct power to the Sony FX6 via PDPFX8 or PDPFX24 cables while also supporting essential accessories. Plus, the PD Pro ports support USB-C PD devices so that users can charge their laptops, mobile devices, and other gear right on set.
