SmallRig introduced the RC 350 and RC 450 series at the end of last year, and now hardware dealer B&H has a special offer for the RC 350B. You can get the bi-color LED fixture together with the wired control panel ($79 value) for $599 instead of $899 for a limited time. Let’s have a closer look at the deal.

We all know SmallRig as a manufacturer of accessories for camera and monitor cages, rigs, tripods, magic arms, and so on. But early last year, the Chinese company started producing light fixtures like the RC 120 series, the RC 220D and RC 220B point-source COB LED lights, and the RC 350 and RC 450 series.

SmallRig RC 350B

The SmallRig RC 350B COB LED video light has a rating of CRI 96+ and TLCI 97+, and the color temperature can be adjusted from 2700K and 6500K. SmallRig claims that when you are using the included 55° hyper reflector, the output of the fixture would be 115,000 lux at a distance of 1 meter / 3,3 feet.

The RC 350B features a dual-fan cooling mechanism designed to operate silently, producing a mere 32dB of noise at a distance of 1 meter / 3,3 feet. It comes with a standard Bowens mount, which is useful if you want to use third-party light modifiers. The RC 350B has 9 built-in special lighting effects (Flash, Paparazzi, Party, Faulty Bulb, TV, Flame, Fireworks, Breath).

Controls

Like most LED fixtures, all settings can be adjusted with the knobs and buttons on the back of the light, or you can use the SmallGoGo smartphone app (iOS / Android). With this deal, B&H includes the SmallRig wired control panel for $79. The light comes with a nice carrying bag, so you don’t have to spend extra money to protect your lamp.
