Fusion is the new 360 degrees camera from GoPro. It offers spherical video in 5.2K (up to 30fps) and 3K (up to 60fps) as well as 18MP spherical photos. Although there is already a new model on the market – GoPro Hero6 – the older Hero5 is still very capable camera for most consumers at a very attractive price. You can take a look at our in-depth look video.

It supports 4K30, 2.7K60, 1080p120 video and 12MP photos at 30fps burst. The body itself is waterproof to 33′. The Hero 5 has rear touchscreen and it supports voice control and Wi-Fi connection for remote monitoring and control. There are flat and curved adhesive mounts included in the box.

B&H: Sony RX100 VA Camera – $100 Discount

Two months ago Sony introduced the newest addition to their RX100 line – the mark VI. The older model – RX100 VA is now available at a discounted price. We reviewed the RX100 V (link here). The Sony RX100 VA improves the RX100 V by increasing the buffer size to 233 images, reducing display lag time in the electronic viewfinder, and adding several small features over other aspects of the camera. For instance dual video recording, where the camera simultaneously records two video files at once.

The Sony RX100 VA features a 20.1MP 1″ CMOS sensor and records internal UHD 4K video with optional S-Log2 gamma picture profile. There is also an interesting high frame rate (HFR) mode for Full HD video at up to 960 fps. The Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens has 24-70mm (35mm Equivalent) focal length and f/1.8-2.8 aperture range. The Sony RX100 VA has 0.39″ 2.36m-dot OLED pop-up EVF and 3.0″ 1.23m-dot 180° tilting LCD.
