On the show floor at IBC 2026, we stopped by DigitalFoto’s booth, where Malcolm Modele gave us a demo of the company’s latest THANOS-PROCINE ELITE camera stabilizing system, which supports a maximum payload of 30kg, comes with a redesigned vest and iso-elastic arm, and more.

At this year’s IBC, Chinese manufacturer DigitalFoto has been particularly active, showcasing several new products such as the TITAN-LITE camera cart, the VB79 79Wh V-mount battery, including the upcoming THANOS-PROCINE ELITE steadycam system.

This is based on the existing THANOS-PROCINE platform, but features upgraded components that provide more precision and comfort to the camera operator. Let’s take a quick look!

DigitalFoto THANOS-PROCINE ELITE – features

DigitalFoto’s THANOS-PROCINE ELITE system consists of a carbon fiber sled, an all-new iso-elastic arm, and a redesigned vest. The system can take payloads ranging from 5kg/11 lbs up to 30kg/66.1 lbs, including the weight of the camera setup and post.

Just like the existing model, the sled features everything you’d expect from a high-end steadycam system, including a V-mount battery mount system at the bottom as well as pass-through SDI and power ports at 12, 16, and 24V with a good degree of power protection.

The biggest upgrades, however, concern the new vest and iso-elastic arm. The vest features a more minimal design that still provides comfort while being more breathable to wear during long sessions. There’s also a little pump on the back that helps provide a tighter fit for extra support to the lower base of the spine.

The new iso-elastic arm allows the operator to easily maintain the camera at a constant height throughout the shot, or move it from a lower to a higher perspective with very minimal effort. The arm features two dials, one for spring tension adjustment and the other to set camera height.

Price and availability

The new DigitalFoto THANOS-PROCINE ELITE camera stabilizing system should become available around October/November 2026 and is priced extremely competitively. For just €6,800 (around $7,800), you get a full kit, including the vest, arm, and post, all packed in two carrying cases.
