Christian Sundsdal sent in this fairly simple an inexpensive solution to the audio monitoring problem we have with many of our HDSLR cameras. He used a simple headphone amplifier, a couple mini jack splitters, two mini to mini cables and a pair of headphones and viola he can now montor the audio out of the camera while recording. Pretty cool.

“I have found one simple workaround that really works. And a bonus with my setup is that you can connect two mics. With my setup, i have a wireless clip-mic, and the videoMic connected… works great, and i can monitor both with headphones.”
