DZOFILM PAVO Lenses Teased – A New Set of 2X Anamorphic Lenses

Chinese lens manufacturer DZOFILM teased a new set of anamorphic prime lenses. The PAVO T2.1 2X anamorphic lenses are available with a PL or EF-mount, and with focal lengths of 28mm, 32mm, 40mm, 55mm, 75mm, and 100mm. All lenses come with either a blue or golden coating. Currently, we don’t have any pricing information.

DZOFILM is a well-known brand of cinema lenses. Their Pictor 12-25mm T2.8 cinema zoom lens joined the 20-55mm T2.8 and 50-125mm T2.8 models, first launched in 2020. Additionally, they introduced the 14-30mm T2.8 in the spring of last year. They also offer the full-frame Vespid Prime Lenses and Vespid Retro Primes.

The PAVO anamorphic prime lenses come with a 2X squeeze factor and quite a fast aperture of 2.1 up to 22. Unfortunately, there is not too much information available yet, but we can confirm that the PAVO 2X Anamorphic Prime Lenses will be available with a PL-Mount and an EF-Mount version.

They come with either metric numbers or in imperial ft units, and, depending on your personal taste, you can choose between a colder blue coating or a warmer and softer golden coating. Please note that the coating is not only on the outside but it can also be seen in the reflections and is especially visible on the lens flares.
