Eddie AI is heading to Las Vegas for NAB 2026, bringing its AI‑powered editing platform to the show floor. The team plans to debut a new feature at the event, alongside live demonstrations of how Eddie turns source footage into a structured rough cut on the timeline. So, if you’ve been curious about how Eddie AI works, this will be your chance to see the workflow in action.
For editors evaluating AI‑assisted tools, seeing the Eddie AI system work with real footage may offer a clearer sense of how it approaches structure, selects material, and builds a first‑pass timeline. We’ve written about many of Eddie AI’s features, including multi-track audio support, “Dirty Multicam” support for Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and Feedback and Unified Rough Cut modes, and NAB provides an opportunity to observe the workflow in person and ask the team questions about specific use cases.
Eddie AI builds a timeline structure rather than working only at the clip or transcript level. It assembles an A-roll narrative from interview material, then selects and places B-roll based on context. The result is a rough-cut timeline that can be refined further in an NLE such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
