FilmConvert just added yet another camera profile to its roster of already available camera packs. This time the brand new Canon C70 gets the FilmConvert treatment.
In case you’ve never heard about FilmConvert, it’s a piece of software which plugs into your favorite NLE and it simplifies the way you can grade your footage in a pleasing, cinematic way. It aims to emulate the look and feel of certain popular film stocks from the analogue age (read our initial nitrate article here).
FilmCoverts take on the process goes like this:
Our Camera Packs contain accurate data for each Camera Picture Style so we can tailor each film stock to your camera, allowing authentic Film Stock looks across a wide range of cameras and settings. We continue to work directly with camera companies to bring you the latest profiles.Quote from filmconvert.com

If you’re a proud owner of the freshly released Canon C70 cine camera, this one is for you. FilmConvert just added a C70 specific camera profile to its lineup. With it you can easily grade C70 footage to match popular film stocks like Fuji Eterna or Kodak Vision3 250D.
The camera pack itself comes as a free-to-download package but you need an active license of FilmConvert nitrate. This comes in a variety of versions to choose from and there’s a 20% off discount going on right now. Prices are ranging from $139 for a single plugin to $199 for the bundle which includes all plugin versions of filmcovert nitrate. Host apps include DaVinci Resolve (OFX), Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects and Apple Final Cut Pro X and Motion.
