FXLION Nano Pro 98Wh is a new V-mount battery launched at IBC 2025. A compact, airline-safe unit, it also doubles as a versatile power hub. The Nano Pro 98Wh houses multiple outputs. These include D-Taps, USB-C PD for high-voltage power outputs, lower-voltage USB-C and USB-A ports, and the main V-Mount. The Nano Pro is designed for contemporary production environments filled with lights, monitors, and accessories, all of which demand power.
The Nano Pro 98Wh is FXLION’s next step in a long line of products, upgrading connectivity as well as maintenance. The battery comes equipped with a hidden LCD screen that will provide valuable information: battery percentage, voltage readings for each USB-C and USB-A port, estimated runtime, battery temperature, wattage draw per output, and more. It’s hard to tell whether the FXLION Nano Pro 98Wh is a V-Mount battery with extra accessories or a power bank with a V-Mount connection.
Many traditional V-mount batteries have offered D-Tap ports to share some power with other accessories. The Nano Pro 98Wh takes this power distribution to the next level. The battery is equipped with a wide set of connections:
This means the Nano Pro can simultaneously power a camera, monitor, wireless focus, microphone, smartphone, or even certain compact lights that accept high-current USB-C. The USB-C PD also acts as a charging port and is able to fully charge the battery in less than an hour, given an adequate power source and cable.
Due to these requirements, the company is also launching a smart little USB-C PD cable. This one can provide a 100Wh throughput, and is also equipped with a tiny LCD. The screen will indicate the wattage going through it so you can tell if the system is working at maximum speed or if there’s a bottleneck somewhere. The cable will also work with every other USB-C device.
By combining high-capacity airline-safe power with fast charging, detailed monitoring, and a variety of ports, the FXLION Nano Pro 98Wh positions itself as a competitive option for many use cases. A V-Mount battery at its core, it’s also a portable power hub. This flexible nature should lure documentarists, travel filmmakers, ENG crews, and content creators looking for an all-in-one power solution. It may just be capable enough to appeal even to audiences that don’t use V-Mount-based cameras or rigs…
The FXLION Nano Pro 98Wh will be available in the next couple of weeks at $199. The optional smart (and powerful) USB-C cable will cost $12.
