INOVATIV Workstation Monitor Arm System (VESA Compliant) Introduced - A Next Generation Solution

INOVATIV was founded in 2010 by Patrick Blewett, who designed a portable workstation because he needed one. There’s no better reason I can think of for starting your own business! The company moved on from there and continues to specialize in mobile equipment workstations. Let’s have a look at their newest product!

A home base for your workflow

INOVATIV produces very robust carts for moving heavy equipment around a set, and they also produce heavy-duty mobile workstations. These workstations need to offer reliability, allowing you to focus on your tasks without concerns about the stability of your equipment. After all, as INOVATIV says, “They’re a home base for your workflow, no matter where the job takes you.”

Now, INOVATIV has announced their Workstation Monitor Arm System (VESA Compliant) after it was previewed this year at NAB 2023. (You can read more about their workstations here.) It is a locking monitor arm system solution designed to attach to the upright posts on any INOVATIV workstation – no tools required.

Specs

With locking rosette joints, the System offers a secure foundation for both 100mm and 75mm VESA-compatible monitors and has a payload capacity of up to 55lb/24.94kg. The maximum reach is 16.5in/41.91cm. The system weighs 11lbs/4.9kg, is composed of 6061 T6 aluminum, and has corrosion-resistant, stainless steel hardware.

Secure your monitor confidently

Unlike other monitor arms that are tension-based and difficult to use on a portable workstation in the field, the INOVATIV Workstation Monitor Arm System, although it works in much the same way, uses locking rosette joints. The joints enable the monitor to be positioned securely without loosening over time.

The rosette joints offer dual points of articulation, letting you either bring the monitor closer to you or move it out of the way. The monitor can be moved horizontally and the height can also be set along the length of the vertical post and then locked in place.

The monitor can be locked in either landscape or portrait orientation. The VESA-compliant monitor plate allows for 360-degree rotation, as well as pan and tilt adjustments. A second system can be installed if two monitors are being used.

I must admit, this system appears both durable and dependable. And while it comes with a high price tag, so does my equipment, and quality often justifies the cost! This monitor arm system replaces INOVATIV’s previous monitor arms, the BOA and Sidewinder.

Price and availability

The INOVATIV Workstation Monitor Arm System can be pre-ordered for $799. Find out more information on their website here.
