Panasonic Offers 5-Year Extended Warranty on LUMIX S Cameras and Lenses in Europe

Panasonic Europe (EU and UK, but not all EU countries) currently offers an extended 5-year warranty on LUMIX S full-frame cameras and lenses purchased from March 14, 2025.

It seems like Panasonic’s imaging division is very active recently. Since January, the Japanese tech corporation has already launched three new full-frame cameras and a new lens. Besides the regular useful firmware updates for existing models, Panasonic started the year off with a 44MP high-resolution 8K photography flagship, the LUMIX S1RII.

A few days ago, three new products followed – the new filmmaking flagship LUMIX S1II, a new modestly-priced “essential” camera model called LUMIX S1IIE, and, last but not least, a new standard zoom full-frame LUMIX S 24-60mm f/2.8 lens.

Panasonic Europe 5-year warranty

To celebrate all the new gear, Panasonic decided to offer a 5-year extended warranty on all LUMIX S-series (full-frame) models purchased from March 14, 2025. Although announced now, the offer is also retrospective, so any LUMIX S camera or LUMIX S lens purchased after March 14, 2025, can benefit from the extended warranty. As Panasonic claims, the offer will stay active for cameras purchased until the end of March 2026 (the claim deadline is June 30, 2026).

The offer is, however, geographically limited. It is only valid in the UK and selected EU countries. Please check with your local retailer if your camera or lens can benefit from the Panasonic extended warranty.

To participate, you need to buy any new LUMIX S-series camera from a participating retailer and then register the product on “My Panasonic”. This will get you a 5-year warranty at no extra cost.
