This is an old video showing the construction of the Zeiss ZE lenses. It is worth watching if you have not seen it already. They just announced the release of the 50mm  T2 and 100mm T2 Macros in Canon ZE mount.
The Zeiss ZE lenses could be the best glass available to shoot video with HD-DSLR’s, all metal construction, manual focus and crisp images really set these lenses apart.
Zeiss seems to be expanding the ZE line and upgrading the ZF Â to ZF.2 with aperture control in camera. Clearly they have noticed the ever expanding HD-DSLR market.
