Following its introduction at IBC 2024, the Accsoon CoMo SE Full-duplex Wireless Intercom System is now officially available. This budget-friendly wireless intercom system operates on the 2.4GHz frequency, links up to 5 headsets, and is designed to offer long battery life, with up to 30 hours on a single charge. The CoMo SE builds on the original CoMo system, which debuted at NAB earlier this year. The key difference between the two models is not only the budget-friendly price but the operating frequency—2.4GHz for the SE, which can sometimes be more crowded compared to the 1.9GHz frequency of the original. Despite this, the core features remain unchanged, including the 400m/1312ft range. Both versions use external antennas to ensure a stable wireless connection, a crucial element for Accsoon, given their experience with wireless systems.

Features

The system operates over distances of up to 400m (1,312 ft) without the need for a base station. The CoMo SE includes a host headset with orange buttons and up to four remote (or slave) headsets with black buttons. Each headset comes with a flip-to-mute microphone and an ergonomic design for comfort during extended use. The microphone also includes advanced Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to minimize background noise.

A notable feature of the CoMo SE is its rechargeable, non-proprietary battery that offers up to a whopping 30 hours of use on a single charge, more than enough for most productions. A charger is included.
