Accsoon Power Cage for iPad Released & First Look Review

The Accsoon Power Cage for iPad is the perfect solution for keeping your Apple tablet charged up and safe on-set when using it as a reference monitor.

Accsoon has been shaking things up for several years now with the CineEye line of WiFi video transmitters. Accsoon’s CineEye transmitters allow multiple iOS devices to receive a wireless video feed from the camera on set.

Accsoon Power Cage

The new Power Cage accessory for iPad adds an adjustable metal frame with multiple mounting points, and a removable NP-F battery for all-day power.

iPads have become a common-place tool for video shoots. Shielding them from the stresses of a busy set can be challenging.

The form-fitting aluminum alloy cage adds protection without excessively increasing the size & weight. It is only 27mm thick and weighs only 350g.

It has 1/4 20 mounting points on all 4 sides and the back for attaching handles, straps, clamps, or stands.

Accsoon GO App

The original CineEye, CineEye Air 5, CineEye 2, CineEye 2s, CineEye 2 Pro, and CineEye 2S Pro all work with the Accsoon Go app allowing every size production to benefit from the new Power Cage.

The Accsoon Go iOS app puts all of the features of a professional monitor into one free app. Waveforms, zebras, touch magnification, focus peaking, audio meters, LUTs, and anamorphic tools are all available at the touch of a finger.

The latest version of Accsoon Go even adds live-streaming from CineEye 2 directly to YouTube.
