Eddie AI is at NAB 2026 with live demonstrations of its v3 platform and Night Shift overnight editing workflow, plus two speaking sessions by CEO Shamir Allibhai. The team is at booth N1672 in the North Hall from April 19 to 22.
The timing lines up with the recent launch of Eddie AI v3, which introduced Night Shift, a mode that processes footage overnight and delivers a rough cut, logged media, and synced multicam timelines by morning. NAB gives the company an opportunity to demonstrate that workflow in person.
The main focus will be live demonstrations of Eddie AI assembling rough cuts from raw media, including contextual B-roll placement. The tool is aimed at editors, producers, directors, and content operations teams working on documentary, interview, and unscripted projects. Visitors who want a more detailed walkthrough can book a 1:1 meeting with the team ahead of time.
For those who missed the v3 coverage, Night Shift is the headline addition. Users drop a media folder into the Eddie desktop app after a shoot day, and the system sorts interviews from B-roll, syncs multicam angles, logs clips, and assembles a rough cut. By the next morning, the project is ready to open in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
A remote option is also available: users can text a link to footage stored in Frame.io, Google Drive, or Dropbox to Eddie’s SMS number (+1 650 444 9211), and results are delivered by 8:00 a.m. PST. How useful the output actually is as a starting point for editorial work, versus just a faster form of bin organization, is something editors will need to judge for themselves.
Eddie AI CEO Shamir Allibhai has two appearances at NAB. First is AI Agents for Video Editing: The Next Leap in Post Production Efficiency on Sunday, April 19, from 2:10 to 2:30 p.m. at the Tech Chat Theater (W1242). The session covers how AI tools are moving from assistive functions toward autonomous action in the editing workflow.
He also joins the Birds of a Feather AI panel on Tuesday, April 21, at 5:15 p.m. in rooms N240–N242 as part of Post/Production World, a group discussion exploring where AI is heading in post-production.
Eddie AI is sponsoring the Reddit Post Pro Meetup on Monday, April 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (location shared upon registration). Attendees can also text “NAB2026” to +1 650 444 9211 for a rundown of Eddie AI’s full NAB schedule.
Eddie AI v3 is available now with subscription and credit-based pricing. Details are on the Eddie AI website. The team is at booth N1672, North Hall, April 19 to 22.

A camera was put in my hands at 16, and I’ve been taking photographs ever since. Before moving to Vienna, I worked as a photographer on film sets, telling stories as they unfolded behind the scenes. Since then, I’ve focused on immersive theater, both as a photographer and an actor. I am the photographer for the award-winning Nesterval ensemble, documenting the energy and atmosphere of their performances. I’m a teller of stories. Stories hold my interest. I’ll take on any project with a story to tell.
