How to Make $50 with Howcast.

I found this particular video very helpful last night around 3am. Howcast is an instructional website created by filmmakers. Howcast provides the script, voice over, and audio for a simple how to video. You provide the visual content. This opens the door to some very funny videos. They are willing to pay $50 for the first video and will split the ad revenue 50/50 if your video gets over 40,000 hits.

How the Program Works

1. Pick a title and download its script and voice over, animated graphics, and music tracks.
2. Get creative. Shoot and edit your video.*
3. Upload your video. Work with Howcast producers to fine-tune it until your final cut is ready for upload.
4. Watch it go live to viewers across the web and beyond.
5. Repeat. Get new assignments and make more as often as you like.

*Requirements: 3-chip Mini DV or HD camera and video editing software that can process .MOV files. (For example: Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro Express, Avid, Premiere, and Vegas. Pinnacle and iMovie will not process the Howcast graphics. Please contact us if you are unsure about your program.)
