iFootage has just released no less than four new lighting modifiers and accessories for Bowens mount and mini Bowens mount LED lights: the 6FPL and 6FPM Fresnel lenses, the 3INT-MB Mini Bowens spotlight intensifier, and the LC-01 light controller clamp. So, without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at all these accessories!
After the recent announcement of the iFootage Beava collection of bags (I’m currently testing the Beava Roller 35, and our exclusive review will soon be available on CineD), the company is back with a series of lighting modifiers and accessories compatible with its Anglerfish lineup of LED lights, which can also be adapted to other Bowens and mini Bowens mount lighting fixtures.
Let’s start with the two iFootage six-inch Fresnel lenses: the 6FPM and 6FPL. The iFootage 6FPL has a standard Bowens mount, while the 6FPM has a mini Bowens mount.
The beam angle of the Fresnel lenses can be adjusted by turning the front ring. If you’re using the iFootage 6FPL, you can adjust the beam angle from 12° to 40°. The beam angle is slightly narrower for the 6FPM Mini Bowens mount version, ranging from 8° to 35°.
Both Fresnel models come with detachable four-leaf barndoors.
The iFootage 3INT-MB is a mini Bowens lighting modifier that looks a bit similar to a Fresnel lens, but since it does not have a Fresnel lens element, it acts as a spotlight intensifier. By turning the front ring of the 3INT-MB, you can adjust the beam angle from 15° to 50° and spot/flood your LED light while increasing its output brightness.
The iFootage 3INT-MB comes with removable six-leaf barndoors. With a size of only 8.6 x 11.1 x 11.1cm/3.4 x 4.3 x 4.3in, this spotlight intensifier won’t take up a lot of space in your lighting kit.
Lastly, the iFootage LC-01 is a light controller clamp that can be attached to any tube with a diameter from 20 to 35mm/0.78 to 1.37in. This clamp is made entirely of aluminum and has a maximum load capacity of 10kg/22 lbs.
You’ll find a V-Lock base station at the back of the clamp that supports V-Mount batteries and LED light ballasts with a V-Mount wedge.
The iFootage 6FPM retails for $79, the 6FPL and 3INT-MB are $99 each, and the LC-01 clamp is $39. All products are available now.
