Knuckle Puck Camera Grips Released - DIY Custom Hand Grips

American manufacturer Knuckle Puck Camera recently released interesting DIY handle grips that can be precisely molded to the operator’s hands. Once you’re satisfied with the raw clay mold fitting, you ship it back to them, and Knuckle Puck Camera will take care of you from there. So, let’s take a closer at these tailor-made camera grips!

Knuckle Puck Camera is a relatively small camera accessory manufacturer from Glendale, USA. The company’s first product was the Knuckle Puck, a small 3/8″-16 camera handle designed to attach to the back of your top handle. The Knuckle Puck can be useful when operating a camera on an Easyrig as it eliminates the need to handle and manage your camera rig via the V-Mount/Gold Mount battery. This is a common practice that carries the risk of unexpected battery shortage.

Custom hand grips are anything but rare, with several companies like Bolljävla, Element Gear, and KinoGrip crafting unique, tailor-made wooden handles, to name just a few. However, these usually come with a relatively high price tag. Knuckle Puck Camera recently released DIY custom hand grips at quite an affordable price, making them more accessible for users.

When you receive the DIY kit, you’ll also receive a how-to video on how to customize your grips. You can adjust the size and shape to fit your hands exactly.

Knuckle Puck Camera mentions that once you’re done, you can “ship your mold back to us, and we’ll take it from there.” However, they do not mention the final material used for the handles.
