The NANLITE wand is a lightweight and versatile lighting solution designed for creators. With its compact weight of 420g (0.9 lbs), it’s light enough to operate with one hand. Let’s take a closer look.

Powered by NANLITE’s Nebula C4 Light Engine, the wand delivers quality white light performance and boasts an impressive array of 36,000 color options. Its comprehensive app control allows users to seamlessly manage their lighting setup, ensuring optimal performance.

The wand is designed for portability and user-friendly operation, making it a good choice for filmmakers and vloggers alike. According to the company, it can be comfortably held in one hand, making it a good choice for on-the-go shooting, especially in tight spaces. In addition, its focusing lenses above the LEDs generate a concentrated beam, delivering an output of 14,150 lux at a distance of 0.5m/1.6 ft (5600K), effectively illuminating subjects or creating captivating backgrounds.

The wand’s extensive RGB chips enable a broad spectrum of colors, allowing users to select from 36,000 options. Additionally, 14 pre-built effects cater to diverse lighting atmospheres, providing users with a comprehensive toolkit for achieving various visual effects. These effects can be customised to suit individual preferences.

The wand’s modern design prioritizes ergonomics and ease of operation. It is available in two colors, mint blue and midnight blue hues.

The wand features a 1.28-inch round display and a user-friendly control layout, facilitating wireless control via the NANLINK App 2.0. This app empowers users to manage multiple lights, ensuring optimal performance and firmware updates.

The fixture includes removable barndoors and a diffuser, enabling flexible lighting setups. The adjustable barndoor shapes the light’s direction and spread, while the diffuser softens the light, creating a more aesthetically pleasing ambiance. A 1/4”-20 mount is also available for mounting purposes.

The wand is powered by NP-F batteries or a PD power source. An NP-F750 or NP-F970 battery provides approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of operation. It supports PD3.0 chargers and power banks, which can be attached using the optional Power Bank Holder for NP-F Slot.

An internal fan ensures efficient heat dissipation while maintaining low noise levels at approximately 22 dB(A).
