SANDMARC, a company specialized in smartphone accessories, has just launched a new lineup of lenses and filters compatible with all iPhone 12 models. These lenses/filters attach to an included case that lets you choose between a filter mount, an anamorphic, telephoto, wide-angle, or macro lens. Let’s take a closer look at it!
SANDMARC has been making accessories for iPhones, DJI, and GoPro cameras for quite some time now. Indeed, if you missed it, we already reported about their iPhone 11 Series accessories, anamorphic lens adapter, and motion variable ND filter for iPhones.
Before you can start using all SANDMARC filters and lenses for the iPhone 12 Series, you’ll need to put your smartphone in a specific case, that’s included with every lens kit.
This very thin rubber case has an aluminum threaded mount behind the two/three cameras of the iPhone 12.
Once your phone is in the case, you can then start attaching lenses or filters – via the filter case mount – directly to the back of your smartphone.
At the moment, five lenses are available:
All the lenses are made out of aluminum and multi-coated glass. They have a 17mm inner diameter, 40.66mm outer diameter, and all SANDMARC lenses are compatible with the company’s Drama/Scape/Hybrid filters.
Finally, the case is compatible with the filter case mount, which makes it compatible with various filters, such as the Motion Variable ND filter.
All SANDMARC iPhone 12 Series lenses and filters are available now. Each lens kit includes a lens, iPhone Case, Clip Mount, Front / Back Caps, and a pouch.
Prices start at $89.99 for the Macro and Fisheye lens editions, $99.99 for the Telephoto and Wide-angle lens editions, and $129.99 for the anamorphic lens edition. Other bundles are also available with multiple lenses.
For more information, please visit SANDMARC’s website here.
What do you think about these SANDMARC iPhone 12 Series lenses and filters? Do you often use additional lenses with your smartphone? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments below!
