Syndicate 7D Tool Software.
Syndicates 7D Tool is not the sharpest one in the shed. The Windows only software captures the footage from the HDMI output and reconstructs it from 4:2:2 to a 4:4:4 stream. The result is an uncompressed 1620 x 920 image. The record indicator must also be removed as it will be captured in the new master footage.
A Mac version is in the works, the current windows version can be had for 199 EU from the Syndicate website. We have jumped through much worse for our beloved DSLR’s, this is just another hurdle to be conquered.
