Chinese manufacturer Accsoon, known for their wireless video transmission systems and monitoring solutions for the film and broadcast industry, has announced the SeeMo 4K HDMI adapter for Android. We already took a close look at this device during NAB 2025, but now the SeeMo 4K HDMI adapter for Android is ready to see the light of day. This marks an expansion of their popular monitoring ecosystem beyond iOS devices, offering a compact solution that enables 4K30p monitoring, recording, and streaming directly to Android smartphones and tablets for $149.
Accsoon’s SeeMo 4K for Android marks a significant expansion of its monitoring ecosystem, previously exclusive to iOS users. This new Android-compatible version offers the same low-latency monitoring and recording capabilities, making it accessible to mobile filmmakers, content creators, and journalists who rely on Android devices.
Modern Android smartphones and tablets feature displays that can rival dedicated on-camera monitors in terms of clarity and brightness. The SeeMo 4K leverages these high-quality screens through Accsoon’s redesigned See App, transforming consumer devices into professional monitoring solutions.
The companion app includes a comprehensive suite of monitoring tools accessible via touch controls:
A standout feature of the SeeMo 4K for Android is its ability to apply creative LUTs for monitoring while simultaneously “burning” these looks into recorded or streamed footage. This capability is particularly valuable when shooting LOG internally on cameras, allowing for a polished look for immediate streaming or social media upload.
The device supports UHD 4K streaming to platforms like YouTube, utilizing the Android device’s data connectivity. For advanced users, RTMP and SRT protocol support enables more sophisticated streaming workflows. The compact form factor makes it suitable for both studio and mobile production scenarios.
Recording functionality allows direct 4K H.264 capture to the Android device’s camera roll, facilitating immediate sharing via social media or professional platforms like Frame.io. This also serves as a reliable backup solution for primary footage.
Users can select between camera audio or audio sources connected to the Android device, including built-in microphones. Power comes from a single NP-F battery that can simultaneously charge the connected phone or tablet, while a 5V USB output provides power for additional accessories like wireless microphone receivers.
Key Features:
The Accsoon SeeMo 4K HDMI adapter for Android carries an MSRP of $149 USD and begins shipping in July 2025.
