FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch Camera Profiles for Sony A6400, A6600, and ZV-E1 Released

FilmConvert has just released three new Nitrate and CineMatch camera profiles for the Sony A6400, A6600, and ZV-E1. These camera profiles are available to download for free and should help content creators get to the finish line quicker than ever!

FilmConvert recently launched a new Halation feature for its Nitrate film-simulation plugin, a widely-used trick to help “sell the film look” of your footage. This year, it looks like the FilmConvert team focused on releasing smartphone camera profiles, such as the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro with support for Apple LOG, and drones with the DJI Mini 3 Pro. The company is now back with three more camera profiles for the Sony A6400/A6600 and ZV-E1 mirrorless cameras, which are widely used for Vlogging.

FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch packs for Sony A6400, A6600 and ZV-E1

The Sony A6400/A6600 APS-C mirrorless cameras were introduced in 2019, while the ZV-E1 was introduced this year and featured a full-frame image sensor. If you missed it, you can watch our review of the ZV-E1 here and learn more about its incredible autofocus, lowlight capacities, and AI features. However, all three cameras have something in common: they’re widely used by content creators to shoot Vlogs.

FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch are color correction/grading plugins compatible with Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects. These plugins have straightforward controls, as they’re based on specific cameras’ sensor data that the company collects and uses to craft unique camera profiles. In short, it’s a quick and easy two-step process to match two cameras together with CineMatch. In Nitrate, all your film looks will precisely match the numerous film stocks available in the plugin.
