Hollyland Solidcom H1 Intercom System Announced

September 18th, 2025Jump to Comment Section

Hollyland has introduced the Solidcom H1 intercom system, its most capable system to date. Built for complex shows and large sets, it scales to dozens of belt packs, adds flexible group routing, and focuses on quick deployment with centralized pairing and web-based configuration. We met them at IBC to have a chat with them about it!

With the Solidcom H1 Intercom system, Hollyland pushes their envelope into higher-end comms. With meaningful scale, advanced multi-group routing on each belt pack, and workflow touches like charger-based pairing and a role-centric web UI, this system aims higher than ever before, indicating Hollyland’s intentions of getting into higher and higher niches in the industry.

What’s in the Hollyland Solidcom H1 Intercom system

Hollyland’s Solidcom H1 Intercom System is essentially a large-scale, centralized wireless intercom built around a base station that synchronizes up to eight RF antennas and as many as 80 wireless beltpacks at once. Each beltpack has four physical keys that can carry up to four talk/listen routes per key, so a single user can address as many as 16 groups without menu diving. While these numbers may sound a bit overwhelming, it’s mostly just designed to be high enough specs to never really limit usage.

In practice, you place the omnidirectional antennas to cover the designated set, dock all beltpacks in the linked chargers to auto-pair them to the network, optionally assign roles and groups from the web interface, and you are ready to go. Connecting the sets is very straightforward: You just put them in their Ethernet-connected chargers, and they all link together.

Belt pack workflow

The Hollyland Solidcom H1 intercom belt packs opt to blend simplicity and flexibility. Each belt pack offers four keys, and each key can overlay up to four channels, enabling as many as 16 talk/listen routes on a single pack. Power comes from a detachable battery rated for about 15 hours. Headsets can be linked via Bluetooth, LEMO connector for Hollyland’s noise-canceling headsets, or a 3.5 mm jack. This lets crews choose maximum isolation or maximum wireless convenience.

Range and coverage

The Solidcom H1 centers on a new base station that supports up to eight wireless antennas and 80 wireless belt packs. The operational range is quoted at up to 500 meters line-of-sight, using omnidirectional antennas for flexible placement.

A one-stop shop for pairing, charging, and updating

All chargers include dual Ethernet ports, so multiple chargers can be daisy-chained. Once networked, all docked packs auto-pair to the system, so you don’t have to worry about the usual wireless linking frustrations marring some systems. Units can also receive firmware updates with a single command, streamlining prep for large crews.

Who is the Hollyland Solidcom H1 intercom for?

The Solidcom H1 system targets large productions, rental houses, OB, theaters, houses of worship, live events, etc. The system will also be able to interconnect with current Solidcom systems via 4-wire, allowing staged upgrades and expansion. The unique mix of large-scale, flexibility, and streamlined operation on the user’s end will surely benefit these kinds of workflows.

Pricing and availability

Pricing was not disclosed, but the company claims a target of roughly 50% of competing systems’ prices. Availability and final bundles will be determined through regional distributors.

Do the new Hollyland Solidcom H1 intercom system appeal to you? Will you consider replacing your current system with this one? Let us know in the comments.
