We all care so much about our gear. The tools we use on a daily basis are so expensive and delicate that they deserve the right amount of protection, especially when travelling. Hard cases manufacturer HPRC recently introduced ready-made solutions for protecting and carrying your favourite camera kit. Pre-formed hard cases are now available for BMPCC 4K, 6K and 6K Pro, Canon C70, R5, R6 and Sony Cinema Line.
Italian manufacturer HPRC is well-known in designing and producing robust, indestructible hard cases. Their acronym stands for High Performance Resin Cases, and “the name is the game” with these cases.
After years developing high-quality protective cases, HPRC decided to produce a line of ready-made solutions to fit the most popular camera kits: the HPRC READY line.
According to HPRC, their hard cases are indestructible. In fact, they should provide full protection against shocks, dust and acids. Being watertight, they don’t even fear the rain and can be used in pretty much any weather condition.
Being an HPRC case owner myself, I have no doubts about their promises on these products. I carried around my Atomos Shogun Inferno for years using one of their cases. Guess what? Not even a scratch.
So if you travel frequently and you find yourself shooting in harsh environments, then these cases might be an ideal solution for your gear. They will allow you to travel carefree without worrying too much about how you treat your filmmaking tools.
HPRC READY line includes cases with pre-cut foams to host some of the most popular camera kits. Among the newly supported models are the BMPCC 4K, 6K and 6K Pro, the Canon C70, R5 and R6 as well as the Sony Cinema Line cameras (FX3, FX6, FX9 and VENICE).
Each case can fit the camera as well as a wide variety of accessories, including lenses, batteries, chargers and cables. Some of these kits are also cabin-approved when flying, while others feature a trolley-style design.
To give you an example, let’s take a closer look at the HPRC 2550W, which is specifically designed to store the Sony FX6.

A complete list of all the accessories along with detailed pictures for each kit can be found on the HPRC website.
These new HPRC cases are already available for purchase at B&H or CVP. Let’s be honest: they’re definitely not cheap. For example, the Sony FX6 case sets you back $291. However, it is an investment worth considering if you want to travel safe and guarantee a long life to your expensive equipment. Better safe than sorry.
Are you looking for a robust, indestructible case for your camera kit? Purchase your HPRC ready-made case now.
