ASUS has officially launched the ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM, a 32-inch 4K UHD QD-OLED monitor designed for content creators working in color-critical environments. With its 240Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and factory-calibrated color performance, this new entry in the ProArt lineup targets filmmakers, editors, and post-production professionals who demand reliable visual precision.

ASUS and the ProArt legacy

ASUS continues to expand their ProArt series with displays built specifically for creative professionals. Known for their consistent color accuracy, thoughtful design, and solid build quality, ProArt monitors have become a go-to for many in the post-production space.

Earlier, we took a closer look at the ASUS ProArt PA32KCX 8K HDR Mini LED. While that model pushed resolution and brightness to the extreme, the new PA32UCDM focuses on OLED contrast, vibrant color, and buttery-smooth playback—delivering a feature set ideal for colorists and editors alike.

Aimed at professional color and editing workflows

The PA32UCDM is built with post-production in mind. Its true 10-bit panel is factory-calibrated to Delta E < 1, ensuring color fidelity out of the box. Coverage of 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB makes it well-suited for digital cinema and streaming deliveries alike.

HDR support includes Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, giving users the flexibility to master across a wide range of platforms. With a 1000-nit peak HDR brightness and 1.5 million:1 contrast, the QD-OLED panel delivers punchy highlights and rich shadows that are essential for accurate HDR grading.

Its 240Hz refresh rate and 0.1ms response time also make this monitor a strong performer for high-frame-rate editing or reviewing motion-heavy scenes.

Streamlined studio connectivity

The monitor includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one offering 96W of power delivery, allowing creators to charge their laptop while running a full external setup. Also onboard: an HDMI 2.1 port and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub with both Type-A and Type-C connections for accessories, drives, and devices.

The connectivity options are tailored for modern post setups, minimizing the need for adapters and external hubs.

Integrated calibration tools

ASUS’s ProArt Hardware Calibration allows color profiles to be stored directly on the monitor. That means you can move between machines—Mac or PC—without needing to recalibrate every time. It’s compatible with both Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace systems.

For studios managing multiple displays, ProArt Color Center allows centralized scheduling and adjustment of calibration parameters across a network.

HDR performance and OLED burn-in protection

This is the first PC monitor from ASUS with Dolby Vision certification, offering more precise tone mapping and specular highlight control for HDR workflows. HDR10 and HLG round out the support for a variety of broadcast and streaming needs.

To help prevent OLED degradation, the display includes ASUS OLED Care features. These include pixel shifting, screen savers, and a proximity sensor. The sensor dims the screen automatically when no one is in front of it. These features are especially helpful in studio environments where static UI elements might stay onscreen for extended periods.

Final thoughts

The PA32UCDM doesn’t just check boxes. It hits a sweet spot for post pros needing accuracy, HDR, and connectivity. The QD-OLED panel is a great fit for users who don’t need 8K but want strong contrast and motion.
