Canon PowerShot V10 Camera Firmware Update - Improved IS for Vloggers in Motion

Canon announced a new firmware update to improve image stabilization for their PowerShot V10 Vlog camera. The update will improve the camera’s performance while in motion, and users will also have enhanced IS mode settings. Let’s see what this update does!

The Canon PowerShot V10 was introduced back in 2023 as the company’s first attempt to create an easy-to-use camera specifically designed for content creators, especially those who are focused on vlogging. Johnnie had an interesting talk with Canon’s David Parry to learn everything there is to now about it. In case you missed it, you can watch/read all about it here.

The highlights of this pocket-sized camera include a flip-up screen so you can see yourself while shooting, a built-in stand with multiple positions, and a built-in, high-quality stereo microphone. There is a prominent On/Off recording button on the front, and the camera’s controls are straightforward, which can be a plus for beginners and those new to vlogging.
