DigitalFoto has introduced the new LBC-M8 and CS-L10 camera carts. We could talk to Pierre from DigitalFoto, who spoke to us about their main features. Let’s take a look!
DigitalFoto is a Chinese company manufacturing a wide range of camera accessories, support systems, and lighting solutions for filmmakers. The company has introduced two carts that offer a good amount of payload, and a size and weight that makes their transport easy.
The DigitalFoto L10 Cinemech Video Production Large camera cart is a new cart system from DigitalFoto. It supports a payload of 990 lbs/450kg at a size of 47.2 x 36.2x 23.6in/120 x 92 x 60cm, folding down to just 7.8in/19.8cm in thickness, making it suitable for live events, film production sets, etc. The company also offers a more budget-friendly option, the Medium model, with a payload of 660lbs/299.3kg at 37.8 x 23.6 x 36.2in/96 x 60 x 92cm, folding down to just 7in/17.7cm in thickness. Both models include mounting points to add gear. The medium model might be more suitable for independent productions, offering fewer mounting options than the bigger one.
As the carts do not have any protruding parts, users will have more space to work with. The levers latch out to extend the side parts or flip them out to the bottom, which is applicable when using a keyboard, for example. The wheels are fully adjustable and have brakes, and the legs can extend to adjust the height of the carts. They also feature composite wrap corners to avoid scratching surfaces during use.
The Packing Lock System easily connects the top and bottom shelves when packing to be transported in flat mode.
For more information about the cart specs, please visit the product’s website here.
The DigitalFoto camera cart CS-L10 is available under special order for $3220. The medium model, the LBC-M8, has a price of $1700.
What do you think about these carts? Would they be helpful in your productions? Let us know in the comments below!
