Lowel has just released a Blender XL LED 3-light kit that includes three light stands, two Tota-Brella umbrellas, and a Slim Litebag soft case. This compact, lightweight lighting kit looks like it could be a great fit for a one-man-band filmmaker. So let’s take a closer look at it!
Lowel is well-known in the industry for creating high-quality portable light kits, including ones with the famous Lowel Omni and Tota tungsten fixtures. The filmmaking industry has nearly finished transitioning to full LED lighting, so Lowel is back with a Blender XL LED 3-light kit that should help you out in most shooting scenarios, all with a small footprint and lightweight package.
We already did an in-depth review of the Lowel Blender XL LED, which you can read here. But, in a nutshell, here are the main features of that compact fixture:
As you can tell, the Blender XL packs a good amount of power output in a small form factor. Furthermore, having a solid and well-thought-out lighting kit makes great sense for such LED lights.
The Blender XL LED 3-light kit includes three fixtures, three US/EU power supplies with D-Tap power cables, three Uni-Dual Light stands, two Tota-Brella umbrellas (one silver and one white), and a Slim Litebag soft case.
If you are often shooting talking heads or small corporate projects, this versatile kit has everything you need to create a 3-point lighting setups.
The Lowel Blender XL LED 3-light kit is available now for $1,450. In my opinion, this kit seems well-priced, considering you get three fixtures and extra accessories.

What do you think about this 3-light kit by Lowel? Did you already shoot with the Blender XL? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments down below!
