If you’re looking for royalty-free music, free of charge, without even creating an account, look no further: Joystock will be your next favorite place (after CineD, of course ;). Jessica Toussaint, a Belgium-based music composer, launched her own platform and gave her music for free. Let’s take a closer look at it!

Over the last few years, music licensing providers and services switched their programs towards subscription models. There are dozens of platforms already available such as Artlist, Epidemic music, Music Vine, Keyframe Audio, Filmstro, Musicbed, Shutterstock, Audiio, and such. However, how much money music composers who sell their works on these platforms receive is a delicate question. Belgian music composer Jessica Toussaint was tired of only making very little money from the sale of her music and therefore decided to make her compositions available free of charge on her own platform, Joystock.

Joystock is a royalty-free music platform for filmmakers that allows you to download endless tracks, for free and even without an account. It means that you can use all of Joystock’s tracks for YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and many other video streaming platforms. There’s no license to buy and no royalties to pay: the only requirement is to give the website proper credits in the video description.

Also, you can use Joystock’s music for all type of videos, including:

• Personal (wedding, holidays, …)
• Educational (school project)
• Vlog
• Documentary
• Movie
• Business / Corporate
• Advertising
